Acupressure Massage for Relaxation and Health

**  Until Jan. 31st, Use the coupon code “mtwpam2001” at tcmnaturalhealth.com to receive a 20% discount on any of our online courses **

An online course, developed by Dr. Diana Li, President and Founder of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and TCM, teaches an hour long acupressure massage technique that can be used to help treat stress, anxiety, depression, TMJ headaches and more.

    • This is an online massage course and, as a massage therapist, it's important to maintain a close watch on growing trends and effective techniques in order to remain successful.
    • With this course, your members will learn how to perform and practice an acupressure massage and learn some of the foundational theory in which the massage was derived.
    • Having this type of massage available can greatly improve the quality of life for your patients and gives your practitioners new options to offer their clientele.
    • This hour-long massage technique has been carefully refined, successfully practiced, and generously taught by Dr. Diana Tong Li and Dr. Franklyn Shi Chen for more than 30 years.
    • By identifying and gently massaging acupressure points all over the body, practitioners of this technique help patients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, TMJ headaches, and more.
    • Combining the best aspects of massage and the best aspects of acupuncture, this treatment gives massage therapists new options to help patients in any environment. And, since there are no needles involved, you don't need a background in traditional Chinese medicine to do it.

This is college-level content, comprehensive instruction, and a world-class online education module. It's an in-depth exploration of the technique, designed to give massage therapists practical skills to provide the highest standard of care.

The Dr. Li-Chen Acupressure Massage for Relaxation and Health has already been adopted by four professional associations and certified for 25 CEUs.

    Investment: $699 USD (45 Hours)

We will look at what's really happening with your feet and how to create the opportunity for better function and performance.

You will learn and practice techniques to relieve pain and improve the way the foot moves. This online, self-directed course will help you to recognize when foot pain may be linked to knee, hip and core dysfunction, assessment techniques to identify where there are issues and ways to make corrections and provide purposeful, effective and evidence-informed home care to ensure success.

This course involves a combination of video powerpoint lectures, demonstrations, and downloadable documents to support learning.

Students will receive a certificate after successful completion of quizzes and an assignment submitted on the Udemy platform.

      • Assess foot function, and where there may be need for improvement.
      • Understand the requirements for a healthy, functioning foot and how it lends to optimal ankle, knee, hip and core health.
      • Improve both mobility and strength within the foot, using manual techniques and corrective exercise drills.
      • Make recommendations for individualized home care to improve treatment outcomes.
      • Understand the role of the foot in ankle, knee, hip and core mechanics and how improving foot function can have far reaching effects to other areas of the body

      Course Details

"The bodymind cannot heal or receive a treatment during a stress response, or in fight or flight mode. BodyTalk Access effectively trains the brain and nervous system to operate from a rest and digest mode instead of constantly living in shock and fear.

The wellness routine presented in BodyTalk Access helps to re-establish internal lines of communication within the bodymind. This ultimately helps the individual have more resiliency towards stress and any other factors that can be detrimental to long term health. Each time someone uses this program they are tapping into their body's ability to move towards wellness on their own terms and schedule.

BodyTalk Access is based on the comprehensive foundation of the BodyTalk System. Several of the most powerful balancing techniques have been adapted for use by the individual in the home, school, or work environment. These five techniques, along with the Fast Aid routine, work together to balance the body. Even though the balancing is general, the deep effects are frequently immediately noticeable.

BodyTalk Access can be learned and used by people of all ages, genders, or professions. "

      Course Information

This course is available on several dates in Canada. Please visit the site for more detail -> https://www.rhythmmassage.com.au/manual-lymphatic-drainage/

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a highly specialised technique that can be used to treat many injuries and pathologies. It can be performed as a preventative technique that bolsters our bodies' ability to rejuvenate and resist all types of stress.

MLD not only stimulates the vital functions of the skin, tissues and internal organs, but also serves to eliminate cellular waste and stimulate the parasympathetic relaxation response inhibiting muscle tonus and pain.

It provides an excellent tool for massage therapists when regular massage is contraindicated.

This unique training course covers the many dimensions of Manual Lymphatic Drainage:

      • All areas of the body will be reviewed and students will be provided with an understanding of the lymphatic system and the implications and complications that are associated with MLD
      • Illustration for students from a clinical perspective on how to achieve complete evacuation of lymph nodes and thus achieve complete drainage to specific areas
      • Review of current research in the area and the efficacy of MLD within this research
      • Demonstration of exact area specific sequences including amount of pressure applied and examination of "0 pressure" points within these

By the end of this two day certification course, you’ll possess the ability to understand and perform a full lymphatic drainage with confidence and skill.
