Thai Foot Reflexology and Leg Massage

Course Details

This hands-on (in-person) workshop is excellent to add on to your massage and bodywork professional career. It will enhance the massage techniques you already know as well as master new ones. 

The emphasis of this 2 day workshop is practical, the aim being to ensure that all participants feel confident to add this new skill to their repertoire of therapies and are able to professionally offer the treatment to clients immediately.

We will:

• Discuss the general difference between Thai foot reflexology massage and Reflexology
• Discuss the benefits of foot reflexology massage
• Discuss pre-cautions and contra-indications to foot reflexology massage
• Discuss which end of stick to use and when applicable to use
• Discuss the different pressures used during massage and stick work
• Get familiar with reflexology stick and different ways to handle it
• Learn new techniques that can be applied to any parts of the body

Prerequisite: Basic anatomy knowledge of lower limbs and feet

Materials required:

• 1 twin sheet
• 3 medium size towel
• 2 facecloths
• 2 pillowcases
• massage oil/gel
• Great energy and enthusiasm
