A one-day workshop that offers a simplified framework for navigating our patients’ complaints.
We will be unpacking Why the Tissues and Joints of those seeking our expertise present as they do. Muscles are Only able to adapt to the loads and stressors regularly placed upon them. How they present is a direct result of How they are being used.
This workshop offers insights and strategies for how we might create the space necessary for patients’ joints and tissues to operate under different circumstances, resulting in improvements in health.
Rather than trying to force New techniques upon you, this Workshop is designed to afford participants with a new lens through which to view the Body, and apply the techniques with which they are already familiar, but to render outcomes in a different way.
Examples of what will be unpacked and reframed include:
- Shifting the Therapist’s Mindset to Facilitator rather than Fixer
- Connecting how sites of pain and/or dysfunction occur because other adjacent areas have ceased to fulfill their duties, meaning the area in question has had to take on additional work for which it is not designed.
- Uncovering possibilities within the Transverse Plane: how improving mobility and tissue health within this plane can afford improvements in the most common of complaints, not to mention unleash significant changes in circulatory health, proprioception and perception of pain.
