Continuing Education as part of our Quality Assurance Programme

All members are required to further their education and credentials (Continuing Education Units or CEUs) in order to maintain their membership. This adds enormously to our profession and enhances public awareness. Please reach out to the CEU team if you have additional questions or need clarification on certain CEU guidelines.

MTWPAM utilizes a system of Primary Credits (Category 'A') and Secondary Credits (Category 'B') to differentiate hands-on training from business development or complementary modalities such as Yoga, Reiki or marketing. Please see the Summary Chart below for more examples and the programme changes.

MTWPAM requires registrants to complete 30 hours of training within a three year period. This cycle then renews for another three years. Members usually need to earn 20 Primary credits of the 30 required. If you started with MTWPAM any time after January 01st, 2024 then you would need to submit your CEUs by December 31st of 2026 (example).

For further detail on the MTWPAM CEU program please see the following links:

Is there a skill or training opportunity to share within our ranks?

We have such a great variety of skills in our membership - lets start sharing them! Any members interested in holding workshops that will count towards CEUs are asked to please submit an outline of your workshop along with your qualifications to the MTWPAM CEU committee for review.
