The ear offers an exciting and precise map of the brain that can be noninvasively accessed for assessing and treating challenging, chronic conditions that are otherwise blocked from healing.
Learn how to use the ear for its direct pathway of healing and the “personalized medicine” it offers. Please check the links below for more information.
These courses will take place at the New Story Empowerment Center at 41 Forrester St, Truro, NS.
Introduction Course
The first course, on Saturday, May 27 called Experience Auricular Medicine will be an opportunity for students to gain an understanding about what Auricular Medicine is and how it could open up the Window to the Brain to bolster their current practice. There will be instruction and demonstrations of even advanced methods aimed at uncovering hidden trauma.
Hands-On Workshop
The second course will take place at the same location the following day, Sunday, May 28th. This course, the VAS Workshop will be a hands-on practical event where students will have an opportunity to learn the Vascular Autonomic Signal - a unique pulse palpation technique which allows access to subtle information through biofeedback, without the need for a device!
There will be demos of this technique and some basic theory of the mechanisms of action. We will also be practicing various forms of treatment including electric stimulation and needling techniques.
Any health practitioner can benefit from these courses, which can be taken together or separately.
