Self-Care for and Burnout Prevention is a course designed to educate massage therapists on the most common injuries and dysfunctions seen in the massage therapy industry, how to prevent them, and how to help in the recovery process if dysfunction is present.
In Section 1 of Self-Care and Burnout Prevention, students will learn how to identify common injuries and dysfunctions seen in the massage therapy profession. Section 2 focuses on daily practices to perform before and during each massage to help prevent common dysfunctions from occurring. Section 3 focuses on activities massage therapists can perform at the end of each day, and specific protocols that can assist in treating any dysfunctions that may be present.
Burnout is a relatively common occurrence in the massage therapy industry, so in this course, we also discuss techniques on how to prevent burnout so massage therapists can have a long, successful careers.
